私は、かつての絵師や蒔絵棟梁が当時の技術を柔軟に取り入れたように、新しい表情を纏わせることで同時代の美術工芸なるものを模索しています。
この作品は電子基盤に流れる不可視な伝導素子を螺鈿の輝きで表現したものです。
I am exploring contemporary arts and crafts by cladding my work with new expressions, just as painters and master maki-e (lacquerware decoration) artisans of the past flexibly incorporated new techniques. This work uses the glittering of raden　(shell decoration) to express the invisible conducting elements flowing in a circuit board.
